How do I play Mystiword?

1. Choose your word length (4-7 letters)
2. Select a category (or play with all words)
3. Pick your difficulty level (Easy/Normal/Hard)
4. Type your guess using the on-screen keyboard
5. Press ENTER to submit
6. Watch the letter colors reveal your progress

Color meanings (Standard scheme):

Note: Four different color schemes are available in Settings (gear icon) to support various types of color vision deficiencies. See "What color schemes are available?" below for details.

How do hints work?

Earning Hints:

• Win 3 games in a row (at the same word length) to earn 2 hints
• Your hint pool carries over between games
• Losing or changing word length resets your win streak

Using Hints:

• Tap the lightbulb icon 💡 to use a hint
• Hints reveal one strategic letter position
• Hints avoid pre-populated letters and positions you've already found
• Use hints wisely - they're limited!

What color schemes are available for color vision deficiencies?

Mystiword includes four carefully designed color schemes to support different types of color vision deficiencies:

Can I play offline?

Yes! Mystiword works completely offline. No internet connection required. Perfect for planes, trains, and anywhere without WiFi.

How do I change the color scheme?

1. Tap the gear icon ⚙️ in the top right
2. Scroll to "Color Scheme" section
3. Choose from 4 options designed for different color vision needs (see "What color schemes are available?" above for details)

Why did my win streak reset?

Win streaks reset when you:

• Lose a game - Streaks require consecutive wins
• Change word length - Each word length (4, 5, 6, 7) has its own streak

Example: If you're on a 5-letter word streak and switch to 6-letter words, the streak resets to 0.

Are statistics tracked separately?

Yes! Each word length (4, 5, 6, 7 letters) has separate statistics:

• Games played
• Win percentage
• Current streak
• Best streak
• Guess distribution

Is there a daily limit?

No! Play as many games as you want, whenever you want. Unlimited gameplay with no restrictions.
