Privacy policy

Overview

LetterDrop's gameplay runs on your device. Noble Bytes collects no personal information through the app, which has no account and shows no advertising. Optional purchases and restoration use Apple's App Store services.

Data Collection

LetterDrop:

• Does NOT collect any personal information
• Does NOT track your location
• Does NOT access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera
• Does NOT use analytics, crash reporting, or tracking tools
• Does NOT contain advertisements
• Does NOT require an account or login
• Does NOT send data to servers operated by Noble Bytes. Purchases and restoration use Apple's App Store services.

Local Data Storage

The app stores the following data locally on your device:

• Pages and boards you have completed, and your best scores
• Your current unfinished page or board, so you can resume it
• Which lessons of the in-game guide you have seen
• Settings: sound, music, haptics, fast play, teaching hints, and word forecasts

This data:

• Is not synced between devices by LetterDrop
• Is not sent to Noble Bytes by the app
• Is not shared by LetterDrop with analytics or advertising services
• Is removed from the device when you delete the app

Depending on your backup settings, this data may be included in iCloud or computer backups and restored to a device. Copies may remain in existing backups after you delete the app. You can manage those backups through your device or computer settings.

In-App Purchases

LetterDrop offers optional one-time purchases that unlock additional boards. These are processed by Apple through the App Store. Noble Bytes never receives your name, payment details, or Apple ID from these purchases. The app uses Apple's StoreKit to check which packs you own. Noble Bytes does not receive or store your purchase history. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's privacy policy.

Restore Purchases, available in Settings and on the purchase screen, asks the App Store to re-check what you own. It sends nothing to Noble Bytes.

Third-Party Services

LetterDrop uses Apple's StoreKit to load pack offers, process purchases, and restore purchases. It includes no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Children's Privacy

This app is suitable for users of all ages. No personal information is collected from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new date.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Game progress and settings are stored on your device and may be included in device backups
• Delete the app to remove its local data; manage existing backups separately
• Purchase records are held by Apple and can be managed from your Apple Account
• No account or login required
